The Wombats

English indie rock trio the Wombats help to make traveling guitar post-punk and electronic-influenced pop. Created in Liverpool in 2003 as the users were all going to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, the Wombats feature vocalist/guitarist Matthew Murphy, drummer Dan Haggis, and Norwegian-born bassist Tord Øverland-Knudsen. In 2006, the Wombats released their debut solitary, the Japan-only “Ladies, Males and Marsupials.” Many singles followed prior to the release from the band’s 2007 debut recording, HELPFUL INFORMATION to Love, Reduction & Desperation. A 12 months later on, they released the Wombats EP on Shiny Antenna. In 2011, the Wombats released their sophomore recording, This Contemporary Glitch, featuring creation from such contemporary rock and roll stalwarts as Eric Valentine, Butch Walker, and Jacknife Lee, and in 2015, they came back making use of their third full-length recording, the synth-heavy Glitterbug, which presented production from Tag Team and included the singles “Greek Tragedy” and “Provide Me a go.”
