The Wild Poppies

Produced in 1986 in Wellington, New Zealand, the Crazy Poppies began being a jangle pop-inspired group, but after a proceed to England explored a noisier, gaze-ier sound. Their initial single, “Where Is certainly Wellington/Stare at sunlight,” premiered in 1987, accompanied by their just record, Heroine, that same season. By this time around the music group (Nick Taylor on electric guitar and vocals; Alan Carter on vocals, bass, and percussion; Andrew Little on vocals, electric guitar, and piano; and IDH on drums) acquired decamped to Britain, Oxford particularly, where they finished up as housemates to Swervedriver.
