The Whore Moans

Seattle garage area punks the Whore Moans is possibly the post-emo reincarnation of early Mudhoney: an identical mixture of bratty insolence, vintage Nuggets, early metallic influences, and unexpectedly poppy hooks reaches play within their adolescent kicks. The primary of the group produced as high-school close friends in Tacoma, WA; vocalist and guitarist Nick Anderson, business lead guitarist Jonny Henningson, and bassist Ryan Devlin (never to end up being confused using the semi-famous tv actor from the same name) transferred to close by Seattle and produced the Whore Moans with regional drummer Jason Kilgor in 2005. Developing the mixture record label and creative collective Wizard Rock and roll, filled with a communal home in downtown Seattle, the Whore Moans started developing a regional popularity through regular hometown and local gigs while documenting their debut record with regional power pop star Johnny Sangster (the Posies, Mudhoney, Murder Town Devils, etc.). That record, Look out for This Thing, premiered by Wizard Rock and roll in the springtime of 2007.
