THE MARRIAGE are an emo-tinged Christian punk music group from Fayetteville, AR. Produced once the bandmembers had been still in senior high school, the group’s primary lineup was vocalist and keyboardist Kevin Kiehn, guitarist Trevor Sarver, bassist Cody Driggers, and, carrying out a string of part-time drummers, Clint Robinson. Originally playing beneath the name Easier Stated, the music group toured the choice CCM and Christian punk circuit for two years, eventually putting your signature on with Rambler Information, the alt-rock imprint of Christian music mainstay BHT Entertainment. Carrying out a self-released demonstration EP marketed on the group’s tour prevents and MySpace web page, the youthful bandmembers — today calling themselves the marriage — documented their debut record with producer Tag Lee Townsend (Relient K) in past due 2004. Released in the springtime of 2005, the Wedding’s self-titled work spawned several strike singles on Christian radio, including “Move This Town” and “Melody for the Damaged.” The five-song EP Rumble within the South implemented in nov 2005, but an interval of workers instability postponed the band’s second correct album. Robinson still left the marriage in 2006, changed by Joe “Rattlesnake” Rickard, previously from the Christian rockers Sky Harbor. On the other hand, bassist Jeremy Ervin, a high-school friend who acquired played in an exceedingly early iteration from the music group, rejoined the marriage, allowing Driggers to be the band’s second guitarist. The Wedding’s second record, Polarity, premiered in the springtime of 2007, preceded with the single “State Your Prayers.”
