New Yorker Jeff Bruce became thinking about commercial music when he noticed the first Group of Dirt album in 1992; it prompted him to begin with tinkering with keyboards and encoding, and in 1994, he documented “Subsidize” for the Artcore compilation on Teeth and Nail Information. After adding punk guitarist Joe Gallagher and key pad participant Michael Cruz the next year, just how Sect Bloom released God. Gallagher and Cruz still left in 1995, but Bruce continuing recording.
