The Watergypsies

The Watergypsies can be an all-female NORTH PARK, CA-based folk-rock group comprised of guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist Sara Michal, guitarist and songwriter Christi Carver, and flutist and saxophone player Wendy Bartel. Michal and Carver teamed up initial, performing for some time being a duo before conference Bartel and adding her towards the lineup. Carver and Michal are both competent self-taught music artists, while Bartel includes a level in music therapy and it has spent years learning her craft. Because the Watergypsies, the threesome initial appeared jointly in early 1999. Since that maiden functionality, the band provides toured across a lot of america, doing displays in pubs and coffeehouses, in addition to festivals. IN-MAY of 2000, the Watergypsies released a leading debut album entitled Witches’ Brew. Monitors like “Something Great,” “Globe,” “Malice,” “Our Period,” “Stand out,” and “You” gained the band advantageous testimonials by most critics. With one achievement to desire them on, the group added a history vocalist along with a keyboardist and started working on composing some new music for the sophomore recording.
