The Warmers

The Warmers, a jagged and minimalist post-hardcore music group from Washington, D.C., lasted more than 3 years but just released one full-length recording just before splitting. The music group – guitarist/vocalist Alec MacKaye, bassist/vocalist Juan Luis Carrera, drummer Amy Farina – currently got founded themselves as appreciated associates of D.C.’s close-knit music picture ahead of forming in 1994. MacKaye is at Beliefs, Ignition, and Untouchables, and helped build D.C.’s hardcore punk picture in the first ‘80s along with his sibling Ian MacKaye. Farina acquired helped Lois Maffeo in Lois. Carrera (operator from the Slowdime label) acquired moved from Az years before the Warmers and performed in a music group called True Culture. 1996 saw the discharge from the trio’s self-titled record, which was documented and released by MacKaye’s sibling. The music group split up in past due 1997.
