The Walkup

Flaunting a combined mix of force pop and Smiths-influenced British rock and roll, the Walkup got root in NEW YORK in 2005. Guitarist/vocalist Alex Koch, drummer Michael Petrucelly, and guitarist Sean Finnigan originally fulfilled at a lesser East Side pub, where they bonded more than a distributed enthusiasm for music and Scotch. The trio released an EP in 2005 and started playing local locations, including the important CMJ Music Marathon in 2006 and 2007. Bassist Christopher Ayoub after that climbed up to speed for the Walkup’s full-length debut, Down on Pacific, which found its way to 2008.
