The Vagaband

An inventive and soulful Victorian folk-pop clothing from Norwich, Britain, the Vagaband supply a colorful amalgam of Americana, British, and Irish folk, blues, jazz, ragtime, pop, rock and roll, and nation. Founded this year 2010 by vocalist/songwriters Jose McGill and Gregory Make, the eight-piece ensemble, which also contains Patrick Arbuthnot (pedal metal), Joe Wright (fiddle/mandolin), Tristan Roche (bass), Daniel Reynolds (bass), Ali Houiellebecq (sax/clarinet/flute/whistle), and Hugh Stanners (flügelhorn/trumpet/squeezebox), the group started as a road band before acquiring their spirited live present to the club, stage, and celebration picture. They released their debut record, Town & Nation, separately via their very own Eggsongs label in 2012. The band’s sophomore long-player, Medication for the Spirit, implemented in 2014.
