The Twelves can be an electronic production team and DJ duo named following the fact that both members, João Miguel and Luciano Oliveira, were born over the twelfth time of July in 1980. They produced in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2005, and got their initial break in 2007, if they remixed M.We.A.’s one, “Boyz.” Miguel and Oliveira continuing producing remixes for various other performers (including Daft Punk, Asobi Seksu, Dark Children, Erlend Øye, Fever Ray, and MSTRKRFT), and finally their live pieces earned them areas in major celebrations. By 2011, that they had not really however released an record of their very own, but instead continuing to spotlight remix function, including an August compilation for the hip clothes series/record label, Kitsuné, entitled Kitsuné Tabloid.
