The Teenagers

An irreverent, humorous couple of scraggly neo-new influx indie rockers, the Teenagers — Frenchmen Quentin Delafon, Dorian Dumont, and Michael Szpiner — shaped in past due 2005. In the beginning, they created as a tale; they produced a MySpace profile for his or her nonexistent music group and utilized the feedback they received because the inspiration for his or her first lyrics (as noticed on “Fuck Nicole”). The Merok label authorized the music group and released several the band’s singles in 2007, including “Homecoming” (which presented “Fuck Nicole” like a B-side) and “Starlett Johansson” (a clear and typically goofy paean to celebrity Scarlett Johansson). The XL label released Fact Examine, the band’s 1st recording, in early 2008.
