The Tah-Dahs

The Tah-Dahs were formed by singer/songwriter/guitarist Roy Ivy after he previously abruptly turn into a professional musician at age 26 when he found himself an associate from the sprawling, 25-member music group the Polyphonic Spree. After assisting record the group’s debut recording, The Beginning Phases Of…, and touring with them, he came back to his house in Dallas and put together the first edition from the Tah-Dahs, a sextet. That lineup didn’t last, but Ivy regrouped with drummer Wayne Porter and bassist Charlie Papathanasiou, turning the music group right into a trio that developed a following, resulting in a contract using the impartial label Undeniable Information and the launch from the Tah-Dahs’ debut recording, Le Fun, on November 8, 2005.
