A Philadelphia-based group with extremely sound instrumental support and an infectiously upbeat audio, the Symphonics had the honor to be only the next act signed to Curtom Information in 1968, through the company’s formative weeks — it had been also the group’s misfortune to become listed on Curtom when the label had no country wide distribution. Their solitary “ONCE I GET OLD” b/w “Guilty” was the business’s second launch, principally in Chicago and additional local markets. These were unable to think of a follow-up for Curtom, although they consequently slice singles for the Brunswick label.
