The Sunshine Company

Southern California smooth pop quintet sunlight Organization comprised singer Mary Nance, singer/guitarist Maury Manseau, guitarist/violinist Douglas Tag, bassist Larry Sims, and drummer Merel Bregante. Putting your signature on to Imperial Information in nov 1967, the group released its debut LP Content Is the Sunlight Company, rating their lone Best 40 hit using the solitary “Back again on the road Once again.” The recording also produced the minor strike “Content,” although using their self-titled sophomore work, sunlight Company’s industrial momentum dissipated, and in the wake of their third LP, 1968’s Sunlight and Shadows, the group disbanded (although gossips of a finished but unreleased 4th work, supposedly titled Believe, continue steadily to circulate). Sims and Bregante later on recorded using the duo of Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina.
