The Sundogs

San Francisco-based swamp rockers the Sundogs were led by violinist Tom Rigney, an alumnus of Queen Ida’s Bon Temps Zydeco Music group and Back the Saddle. After mounting a single profession with 1989’s Rigo, he created the Sundogs with vocalist/rubboardist Joe Paquin, guitarist T.J. Politzer, bassist John Aughney and drummer Jimmy Hobson; presenting their fusion of rock and roll, zydeco and blues on 1992’s Howlin’, the group resurfaced 2 yrs later with Towards the Bone tissue. 1997’s Large Petting gained “Cajun Record of the entire year” honors from Cajun Occasions, and was adopted a year later on by Dancing Space Just; a seasonal EP, Bon Temps Noel: A Swamp Defeat Christmas, made an appearance in 1999.
