Los Angeles-based power-popsters the Sugarplastic comprised singer/guitarist Ben Eshbach, bassist Kiara Geller and drummer Josh Laner; shaped in early 1990, the trio spent more than a year . 5 rehearsing at an area appliance store possessed by Laner’s dad before finally producing their general public debut, next saving a small number of paths for release on the 1993 three-single box-set debut Ottawa Bonesaw. The 1st full-length Sugarplastic work, Radio Jejune, adopted within the indie label Sugars Repair in 1995; the trio’s Geffen debut, Bang, the planet earth Is Round, made an appearance three years later on.
