The Storm

Several years following splitting from Trip, keyboardist Gregg Rolie launched a single career, before co-founding a similarly styled, mainstream pop outfit — the Surprise. Even though group didn’t match Journey’s monstrous industrial success, they do score popular single using the monitor “I’ve Got too much to Learn About Appreciate,” which strike number 13 in the Billboard singles graph in 1992. The group released a set of full-length albums, 1991’s self-titled discharge and 1996’s Eyesight of the Surprise, before Rolie split the band to come back to his single career.
