The Spinto Band

An indie pop group whose electronica-tinged music nod to Pavement, Of Montreal, and Field Music, the Spinto Music group shaped in 1996, spearheaded by Nick Krill, who was simply inspired to create the music group when he found some track lyrics compiled by his past due grandfather, Roy Spinto. The band’s initial lineup included Jon Eaton, Albert Birney, brothers Thomas and Sam Hughes, and brothers Jeffrey and Joey Hobson; Birney would ultimately keep the group to be able to go to artwork college. Self-releasing seven albums during the period of another eight years, the Spinto Music group was found by Bar-None for the discharge of their 8th recording, Nice and Perfectly Done, in 2005. The recording generated a substantial amount of crucial buzz, enough so the recording was found for re-release on Virgin UK the next year. Another three years discovered the Spinto Music group making visible appearances for the Jools Holland Present with the SXSW celebration, in addition to releasing many singles on EMI and Virgin. The Spinto Band’s ninth full-length, Moonwink, premiered on Fierce Panda and Recreation area the Truck in nov 2008.
