The Speckulations

Just about anything one might state on the subject of the Speckulations is probably to become pure…speculation. Practically there is nothing known today about the quintet, except that they originated from the region around Winston-Salem, N.C. Their line-up included David Hunt (vocals), Robert Hubbs (bass, vocals), Floyd Green (acoustic guitar, vocals), Tony Myers (keyboards), and Harold Johnson (drums, vocals). Their repertory, predicated on the documented evidence, consisted mainly of rock and roll ‘n move and r&b requirements. Their affects included James Dark brown and Sam Cooke, mainly by method of the Pets et al, however they also performed browse instrumentals. The group was created sometime in the middle-’60s and, as far as anyone understands, didn’t survive past 1967.
