The Sorts

Washington, D.C. post-rock clothing the Sorts produced in the fall of 1994, originally made up of vocalist/guitarist Joshua LaRue (previously of Rain Just like the Audio of Trains), bassist Stuart Fletcher, and ex-Hoover drummer Chris Farrall. The group’s debut record, Common Time, made an appearance in 1996, implemented a year afterwards by THAT IS Gateway Noises; the Boom saxophonist Carlo Cennamo agreed upon on for the fourth Types LP, 1998’s Hawaiian Bronco, with pianist Vin Novara (an alumnus from the Crownhate Ruin) growing the lineup to some five-piece for 1999’s Modern Music.
