The Smith Brothers

The Smith Brothers were active both in gospel and country music for over 25 years, and in addition appeared in several Westerns through the ’40s. John Onvia Smith and Aubrey Lee Smith had been both born within the mountains of East Tennessee. They shaped their 1st string band if they had been kids, and aspired to be nation music performers.
