Manchester-based indie outfit the Gradual Present work in a dramatic, textural rock style not in contrast to the Nationwide or fellow Brits Elbow. Produced this year 2010 by vocalist/guitarist Rob Goodwin, business lead guitarist Joel Byrne-McCullough, keyboardist Frederik ‘t Kindt, bassist Adam Longden, and drummer Chris Hough, the music group quickly discovered a home over the Western european touring circuit where they trim their tooth and created a cult pursuing. Veteran players with significant studio room acumen, the Gradual Show spent many years laboring over their debut record, first releasing a set of EPs on German label Haldern Pop before providing 2015’s White Drinking water. The record received vital accolades and drew evaluations to Tindersticks and Leonard Cohen, because of Goodwin’s rumbling baritone and their proclivity for moody atmospheric rock and roll. Their sophomore established, Dream Darling, appeared a year afterwards.
