The Skifflers

The Skifflers were a folk quartet who came together in the mid-’50s, comprising Leon Bibb (credited on the information as Lee Charles), Libby Knight, Milt Okun, and Hally Timber. They documented one recording for Columbia Information around the label’s Epic Information imprint, entitled Goin’ Right down to Town, that was later on reissued inside a shortened type as Hootenanny using the Skifflers. The group was still operating into 1957 and 1958, and made an appearance around the Today Show once or twice, relating to Hally Wood’s child inside a Internet publishing in 2004. These were able to get some good work singing industrial jingles before splitting up later on in the 10 years.
