Canadian nation and pop singer k.d. lang’s support music group, the Siss Growth Bang, is usually a five-member ensemble made up of previous members from the Dixie Chicks, Guster, as well as the Courtroom Backyard Hounds. Featured in the Siss Growth Bang are guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Joe Pisapia; pianist/multi-instrumentalist Daniel Clarke; percussionist Fred Eltringham; guitarist, banjo participant, and pianist Josh Grange; and bassist/multi-instrumentalist Lex Cost. Together, the music group debuted on k.d. lang’s 2011 recording, Sing It Loud.
