The Sippy Cups

Establishing a link between different decades via an imaginative, interactive display not unlike that of the Flaming Lips, the Sippy Mugs play rock and roll music for youngsters and their parents. The California-based group shaped in 2004 across the skills of vocalist Paul Godwin (an early-childhood music instructor who composed ratings for stage and film), entertainer Doug Nolan, guitarist Tag Verlander, vocalist Alison Trust Levy (ex-the Loud Family members), bassist Rudy Trubitt, and drummer Jozef Becker (ex-Thin White colored Rope as well as the Loud Family members). An EP of two singles, made by Eric Drew Feldman (the Polyphonic Spree, PJ Harvey), was accompanied by the 2006 recording Electric Storyland!, as well as the Sippy Mugs widened their viewers in 2007 by playing the children’ stage at Lollapalooza. Embellishing their displays with juggling, unicycling, and puppetry, they continuing to attract enthusiasts into the pursuing years, and 2009 noticed them liberating a sophomore recording titled ENOUGH TIME Machine.
