The Silver Lake Chorus

A 20- to 25-piece choral group from the Metallic Lake neighborhood of LA, California, the Metallic Lake Chorus focus on indie rock tracks, arranged in the nature of alternative and independent music with guitars, synths, percussion, strings, and even more among varied instrumental accompaniment. Led by choral movie director Mikey Wells, they sang the theme music for the 2010 parody film MacGruber, and made an appearance for the 2011 solitary and Saturday Night time Live digital brief “I SIMPLY Had Sex” from the Unhappy Island offering Akon, which strike number 30 for the Billboard Popular 100 furthermore to charting in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many European countries. An extraordinary list of performers contributed original tracks with their eponymous debut, including Sia, Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd from the Flaming Lip area, Ben Gibbard, Ben Lee, Aimee Mann, A.C.
