The Shy Guys

Oak Recreation area, Michigan rockers the Timid Guys produced a local splash in 1966 using their fan-favorite one “We Gotta Move.” Made up of performers/guitarists Ron Lefko and Stu Howard, bassist Marty Lewis and drummer Tag Finn, the group started their profession covering contemporary strikes with the Beatles, the Moving Stones as well as the Seaside Boys, with the peak of their reputation opened local performances with the Dave Clark Five and Sam the Sham & the Pharoahs; they produced their documented debut with “We Gotta Move,” popular not merely in southeastern Michigan but also Buffalo, NY, where it had been played frequently by DJ Scotty Regan upon his relocation from Detroit. The Timid Guys shortly resurfaced using a cover from the Byrds’ “Experience a lot Better,” however when it didn’t match the achievement of their debut the group’s profession stalled, and a set of following singles — “Like So Accurate” and “About You” — proceeded to go unreleased. The music group dissolved immediately after.
