The Shires

An British duo using a knack for crafting pitch-perfect American country-pop in the vein of Female Antebellum, Kacey Musgraves, and Florida Georgia Series, the Shires had become in 2013 after Hertfordshire guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Ben Earle, a struggling single musician who had toured with KT Tunstall, published “there has to be a nation singer somewhere” in his Facebook web page. The response to his issue came from close by Bedfordshire by means of Crissie Rhodes, a talented vocalist who was simply honing her build at wedding ceremonies, pubs, and night clubs. The set bonded over their shared love for performers like Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Alison Krauss, and started writing and executing together; they ultimately inked a cope with Decca Information in the U.K. and General GROUP Nashville over the fish-pond. Their first one, the aptly called “Nashville Skies,” debuted in 2014 in expectation of their full-length studio room album, Daring, which implemented in Feb 2015. The duo continued to market the record using a countrywide tour and came back in 2016 using their second record, My Universe.
