Choice rock trio the Sheila Divine officially shaped in Boston; guitarist/vocalist Aaron Perrino and drummer Shawn Sears fulfilled within a music theory course at Oneonta Condition University in NY, and Sears finished up handling Perrino’s music group the Waverlys. That group split up after a proceed to Boston, and Perrino produced the Sheila Divine with Oneonta friend Jim Gilbert (bass). Sears ultimately replaced their primary drummer, and 90 days afterwards, the group have scored a cope with Roadrunner Information. A five-track debut EP was released in 1998 to determine the group’s name before the 1999 discharge of their initial full-length, THE BRAND NEW Parade.
