The Sewergrooves

Swedish garage rockers the Sewergrooves grew away from a property recording task that begun in the wintertime of 1995 by Stockholm-based singer/guitarist Kurt Dräckes and bassist Andreas Broman. Once the tapes produced their method to Hellacopters drummer Robert Eriksson, he wanted to sign up for the group. In 1997 they released their first formal discharge, a limited-edition 7″ EP for the newly-formed Low Influence label. A set of singles, “Could’ve Been Deceased” and “Two Period Loser,” preceded the discharge from the Sewergrooves’ 1999 full-length debut, Tracks through the Sewer, reissued within the U.S. on Estrus Information plus a singles compilation, Three Period Losers.
