The Servicemen

The mysterious Servicemen released three records on as much brands between 1966-1967 on Wind Strike, Chartmaker, and Patheway Information respectively. Probable associates were Adam Mitchell and Hadley D. Murrell, who composed the groupings’ recordings. They debuted with “I WANT a Helping Hands” b/w “HAVE YOU BEEN Irritated” in 1966 and implemented it with “Special Magic” b/w “Connie” exactly the same calendar year; it all finished with “My Convert” b/w “I WANT A Helping Hands” in 1967. The Servicemen — who most likely were within the military, which means name — dropped off the facial skin of the planet earth musically. Small did they understand that “I WANT a Helping Hands” and “Special Magic” would become best Northern soul has and still searched for by collectors a lot more than 30 years after showing up.
