The Sea Navy

Indie rock-band the ocean Navy was founded by ex-Ivory Coastline singer/guitarist Jay Cox. The theory for the ocean Navy was initially a side task for Cox in Boston. He remaining Boston for Seattle, however, not before documenting the first recording, Sucking in the Aged Globe. Using pre-recorded drum songs, Cox produced his debut as the ocean Navy, starting a display in Feb 2005 for Ted Leo & the Pharmacists. He quickly recruited drummer Andrew Rudd of Aqueduct and bassist/keyboardist T.W. Walsh of Pedro the Lion. In Oct 2006 the ocean Navy released Oh These Stressed Occasions through Luckyhorse Sectors. By early 2007, the lineup included Cox, bassist Stuart Fletcher (ex-Sorts and Ocean Tiger), and drummer Jordan Cumming.
