The Salty Peppers

Earth, Blowing wind & Fire innovator Maurice White colored was a founding person in the Salty Peppers. While a program drummer for Chess Information and an associate from the Ramsey Lewis Trio, White colored started an organization with bassist/keyboardist Don Whitehead and vocalist Wade Flemons. The Salty Peppers experienced a Midwest strike with “La La La” — released on White’s personal Hummit Information — as well as the monitor was leased to Capitol, which resulted in a record agreement for the group.
