California indie rock and roll collective the Rum Journal joined makes in Feb 2000, 50 kilometers outside of SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA within the rural city of Cotati. Focusing on a heady mixture of fantasy pop and post-rock, the music group includes multi-instrumentalists Joe Ryckebosch, Schuyler Feekes, Daniel McKenzie, and Jon Charge. Their debut, Sound Points, premiered in 2002 within the Substandard Information label. An EP, Crucial to Slow Period, arrived later on that year, accompanied by the critically lauded Poisons That Conserve Lives in 2003. We’re Scared of Heights Tonight premiered within the Devil within the Woods label in 2006.
