The Rude Boys

A ’90s vocal group from Cleveland, the Rude Guys are building some headway on both pop and Urban Modern fronts. Larry Marcus, Melvin Sephus, and brothers Edward Lee Banking institutions and Joe Small III were uncovered by Levert, who helped have them agreed upon to Atlantic. Their 1990 LP, Rude Awakenings, included the one “Written AROUND THAT PERSON,” which managed to get to #16 in the pop graph. The Rude Guys also toured that calendar year with Levert. They implemented that with Rude Home in 1992 and Rude As Ever in 1997. Larry Marcus is really a cousin of B.B. Ruler.
