The Rowan Brothers

Chris and Lorin Rowan (both acoustic guitar, vocals) began functioning together like a duo in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, California, USA, through the early 70s. These were helped by Thankful Deceased guitarist Jerry Garcia who sometimes used them live. Their CBS Information debut was a nice, if uninspired, collection. In 1975 the Rowans re-emerged like a trio with the help of elder sibling Peter Rowan (b. 4 July 1942, Boston, Massachusetts, USA), previously of Globe Opera and Seatrain along with a well known bluegrass musician. The Rowans was improved by his special voice and competent songwriting, as had been their following few albums. Peter Rowan resumed his single career 1 . 5 years later, and his young brothers were lowered by their record label. Through the 80s, Lorin documented several albums having a pop reggae device called The Advantage. The brothers reunited in 1993 to record Tree ON THE Hill (acknowledged to Peter Rowan & The Rowan Brothers).
