The Revisions

An acoustic punk music group from Portland, OR, the Revisions play intelligent but scrappy rock and roll & move, but their audio is defined from the thick strum of the acoustic guitar as well as the backbeat of a little drum kit as opposed to the blare of the Marshall amp. The Revisions arrived together with the intervention of the friend Justin Maurer, most widely known for his use the music group the Clorox Ladies. In 2006, Maurer released a publication of short tales, Don’t Take YOUR DAILY LIFE, and do readings at several bookstores within the Pacific Northwest to greatly help promote it. At one particular reading, Maurer asked Douglas Uses up, guitarist using the Portland music group the Crimson Dons, to try out several acoustic numbers within the evening’s entertainment.
