The Regrets

Following the breakup of beloved Kansas indie rock-band Vitreous Humor, three-quarters from the band almost immediately began playing beneath the name the Regrets, but their approach was markedly dissimilar to their previous band. With the increased loss of one guitar within the combine, the Regrets didn’t possess a wall structure of distortion to cover up behind as well as the causing songs were similarly tense, but much less intense than Vitreous Humor’s. The music group recorded one exceptional album, the properly entitled New Directions: Outcomes Beat Features (or, because the disk itself reads Nude Erections: Outcomes Beat Features) in 1997 before splitting up. They would afterwards briefly re-form as Vitreous Laughter, whose Posthumous record contains a reward track with the Regrets.
