The Redwalls

Deerfield, IL-based quartet the Redwalls formed in 2001; originally a United kingdom Invasion-inspired cover music group dubbed the Web pages, the group’s associates — vocalist/guitarist Logan Baren, his bassist sibling Justin, business lead guitarist Andrew Langer, and drummer Jordan Kozer — had been still in senior high school when they performed their first present at the neighborhood jazz membership Pops for Champagne. The Web pages soon began composing original materials and earned a normal reserving on the Evanston membership Nevin’s Live, using the venue’s reserving supervisor, Mitchell Marlow, ultimately stopping his post to control the music group full-time. By using previous Wilco drummer (and Marlow pal) Ken Coomer, the Web pages’ demo documenting made its method to Capitol Information’ A&R rep Julian Raymond, even though amid focusing on their debut LP for the Chicago-based indie label Undertow, the music group agreed upon to Capitol in middle-2003, changing their name towards the Redwalls on the label’s demand.
