The Rarely Herd were among the best possible contemporary bluegrass bands to emerge from Ohio, and became very popular in the festival circuit. Playing a multitude of intensifying and traditional bluegrass with their very own exclusive compositions and adaptations from various other genres, the Seldom Herd were specifically noted because of their close vocal harmonies and lively shows. Their lineup included guitarist and business lead vocalist Jim Stack; his sibling, fiddler/mandolinist/vocalist Alan Stack, a previous kid prodigy; and bassist Jim Weaver. A 1992 display on the International Bluegrass Music Awards set up the Ohio music group as a power in modern bluegrass. That same season, Pinecastle released their debut, Midnight Loneliness. Heartbreak Town implemented in 1994; 2 yrs afterwards, the gospel-flavored record HOW ABOUT Him premiered to popular acclaim. The Seldom Herd continuing to win honours and make an impression on audiences using their energetic mixture of bluegrass prowess and on-stage antics. Arriving of Age made an appearance in 1999, and An integral part of Growing Up implemented carefully on its pumps.
