The Rambling Rooks

The core members from the bluegrass very group the Rambling Rooks — Ronnie Bowman, Don Rigsby, and Kenny Smith, — began playing alongside the Lonesome River Music group in the ’90s, but didn’t officially begin working being a trio until 2013. All three music artists are high-profile performers who’ve done their talk about of touring, documenting, and songwriting in both bluegrass and nation music. Vocalist and songwriter Ronnie Bowman provides released four single discs, performed with Shed and Present, and co-wrote the main country strikes “Never Wanted Nothing at all Even more” for Kenny Chesney and “It’s IMPROVING On a regular basis” by Brooks & Dunn. Two period Grammy nominee Don Rigsby’s high tenor vocals and mandolin have already been heard with many bluegrass acts over time like the Bluegrass Cardinals, J.D. Crowe & the brand new South, and Longview. Rigsby also performs traditional bluegrass and gospel music within a duo with guitarist Dudley Connell. Guitarist Kenny Smith and his wife Amanda possess released many CDs together within the Rebel label, along with Kenny’s 1997 single album of spiritual themed tunes, Studebaker, for Sugars Hill. Smith in addition has released a number of instructional Dvd disks and transcription books for acoustic guitar. In 2013, the Rambling Rooks started playing chosen auditoriums and celebrations, and released their 1st self-titled recording on Rounder in June of this year. Also, they are going to expand their lineup from a trio to quartet with the help of an unnamed banjo participant.
