The Rain

A Finnish hard rock-band using a Christian message, the Rainfall broke to mainstream success in 2008, almost topping the graphs using their 4th album, Yhtä Kuin Voitto. Founded in 1988 in Ikaalinen, Finland, the music group underwent a succession of lineup adjustments over time and afterwards reestablished itself in Tampere, an extremely populated commercial metropolis in the south of the united states. The band ultimately settled right into a continuous lineup made up of Sami Haveri (vocals, keyboards), Tatu “Tatsi” Haveri (bass, vocals), Jussi Salo (electric guitar), and Pasi Hakala (drums). This lineup produced its documenting debut in 1996 using a four-track eponymous CD-EP. Several year afterwards, the Rainfall produced their full-length record debut with Kiitos Ja Anteeksi (1999). In 2001 the music group released another eponymous CD-EP, accompanied by the full-length albums Link 316 (2002) and Ellipsis (2005). The Rainfall then acquired a banner calendar year in 2008 using their 4th record, Yhtä Kuin Voitto, which almost topped the graphs, going completely to number 2 in its initial week of product sales.
