The Ponies

The Ponies were a pseudonym for Link Wray & the Wraymen, who had been recording for CBS in 1960 if they recorded “Stupid Pony” for the B-side of an individual by “a child,” aka Bobby Howard from the Wraymen. The tune, a universal dance rock and roll & move instrumental where honking saxes bring the essential riffs, was included on the Wray compilation Slinky!: The Epic Periods 1958-1961.
