The Plagues

Their ditties had been basic but catchy, sounding similar to a uncooked Herman’s Hermits; for the slower music, the business lead vocalist comes with an artless, low singalong delivery that oddly foreshadows Calvin Johnson of Defeat Happening. They never really had any achievement, but a five-song EP of their materials surfaced in 1987. It’s uncommon (500 copies), but worthy of picking right up by garage area fans who would like something just a little different and even more original when compared to a three-chord raunch.
