The alt-country quartet the Pinetops hail from NEW YORK and are made up of members guitarist John Pfiffner, guitarist and singer Jeffrey Dean Foster, drummer Can Dyar, and bassist Andy Mabe. The group’s debut recording, 2000’s Above Floor and Vertical, was overseen by famous ’80s college rock and roll maker Don Dixon (R.E.M., Smithereens).
