The Pica Beats

A Seattle-based indie pop clothing, the Pica Beats were formed in 2005 being a single task for singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Barrett (2007’s self-released All Mysteries Solve Themselves was primarily a one-man present). Seeking to broaden his audio, which by this time around included from sitar to bassoon, Barrett teamed up with drummer Colin British and a little army of close friends to begin focus on what would end up being the recently expanded collective’s Barely Art debut. Defeating Back again the Claws from the Cool, which drew evaluations to everyone through the Decemberists to Natural Milk Hotel, premiered in the summertime of 2008.
