The Penny Black Remedy

Shaped in London, England, in the past due 2000s by Scottish singer/songwriter/guitarist Keith M. Thomson, eclectic multinational indie rock and roll outfit the Cent Black Remedy emerged together out of the shared love of most things nation, punk, ska, and Balkan folk. Comprising Edinburgh indigenous Thomson, classically educated Croatian vocalist/percussionist Marijana Hajdarhodzic, British bassist Steve Nelson, and Dutch drummer Wilco truck Eijk, the music group includes a penchant for bawdy laughter, high-energy genre-bending musicality, and marathon consuming sessions, drawing evaluations to everyone from Gogol Bordello and Nick Cave to Johnny Money and Hank Williams and producing a devoted following both in the home and overseas. The group’s debut record, No One’s Mistake But Your Very own, was released in ’09 2009 for the band’s very own Soundinistas label.
