The Parcels formed in NJ the summertime of 1997. The initial lineup of Tara Mackay (vocals and bass), Christian Elton (guitars, vocals, keyboards), and AJ Naito (drums) surfaced being a sped-up indie pop trio in the vein of Move Sailor. The music group released the Oh Just what a Busy Time one on Brentwood Estates Information in 1998. The EP was documented with Little Factory’s Dave Auchenbach in Providence, RI. Melissa Wysocki got over on bass and vocals in 1999. The band’s initial in support of full-length CD, Try it out using the Parcels, premiered on Brentwood Estates in 2000.
