The Panic Division

San Antonio’s Anxiety Division (never to be baffled with Pansy Department or Panic! On the Disco) arose through the embers of regional post-hardcore/emo device Carbon 12 Theory. Carbon’s Colton Holliday (vocals, electric guitar), Daniel Stanush (electric guitar), and Tavis Wilson (bass) tapped drummer Adam Castillo and keyboardist Khary Alexander to create Panic, which taken care of the emo urgency but elevated the digital textures and synth pop components. Versus, the quintet’s 2005 Militia Group debut, made an appearance in November 2005, and Anxiety Division toured seriously to get it.
