Formed being a garage area punk group in LA through the early ’80s, the Pandoras debuted using a 7″ EP in 1984 over the Moxie label. That same calendar year, the group documented ISN’T IT ABOUT TIME with manufacturer Greg Shaw, but splintered afterwards in the entire year. Vocalist/guitarist Paula Pierce recruited three fresh players, as the older music group toured for a short while, utilizing the Pandoras’ name aswell. Pierce and her fresh lineup released Quit Pretending in 1986 on Rhino, and relocated up to the majors with an Elektra offer. An recording (Arrive Inside) was documented but by no means released, as well as the Pandoras had been summarily dropped from your label, and then re-surface in 1988 on Restless. A long way off from their origins, the ROCK SOLID EP contained many libido-obsessed homages to crotch rock and roll, as do the Live Nymphomania LP, documented in a Dallas concert.
